Annual Pirate Day in the Bay

ARRRR ye ready fer a weekend of pirating? The 9th annual Pirate Day in the Bay draws families, friends, and of course...pirates! This event is hosted by the Mystic Krewe of the Seahorse and commences on Friday, May 17, and kicks off at 4pm with the ever-popular adult pirate pub crawl with many local bars and eateries offering participants a chance to win the treasure hunt award basket valued at over $1,000! Return to Pirate Central at 7pm for live music by the band "Retro." 

Saturday, May 18, from 10am to 11pm, is a full day of many activities with special performances at Pirate Central for children and adults. One big draw is the Pirate Invasion Golf Cart Parade with a few additional surprises to entertain the parade-goers. The evening continues with merriment and live music by the band, "The Wiseguys," and fireworks display at 9pm!  If you purchase the winning raffle ticket, you will go home with a Blackstone grill!

Both days, events flow from Pirate Central, located at the corner of S. Beach Blvd. and Court St., in Bay St. Louis, MS.

Craft Vendors will be open throughout the weekend. You won’t be out of place if you come dressed as a pirate. Most activities are free. See the full schedule and more details at: www.mkotsh.com.
